CNCC and KINTEX signed international cooperation agreement
China National Convention Center (CNCC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) on June 18, 2021 during the virtual signing ceremony.   

    

Mr. Wei Mingqian, General Manager of North Star Events Group and CNCC, Ms. Sun Jiang, Mr. Zheng Zhonglian, Dr. Li Xiang, Deputy General Managers of CNCC attended the virtual meeting. Mr. Hwa Young Lee, CEO of KINTEX, Mr. Jong Gun Park, Vice President, and Mr. Kichul Park, Deputy General Manager of KINTEX also took part in this ceremony.  

The ceremony was hosted by Dr. Li Xiang, who oversees international cooperation section of CNCC. Mr. Wei Mingqian, General Manager of North Star Events Group and CNCC and Mr. Hwa Young Lee, CEO of KINTEX both delivered the speech during the virtual ceremony. CNCC and KINTEX, as flagship venues of China and Korea respectively, will embarking on a new journey by enhancing international cooperation of events industry.  

KINTEX is the biggest venue in Korea and also a professional event organizer. CNCC and KNITEX will work together in jointly establishing new events and promoting mutual exchanges and training, etc. The cooperation between CNCC and KINTEX will help expanding the spaces for international resources cooperation of events industry and promoting the connectivity of domestic and international markets.   China and Korea are friendly neighbors and have established the strategic and cooperative partnership. Next year will be the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and the Republic of Korea. China and Korea will face the new opportunities of development. This year is the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan period. CNCC, as the state-owned enterprise in the capital of China, will undertake its responsibility and fulfill its mission in promoting Beijing as the center for international exchange, and provide a new international events platform.
